Jump In Juniors Subject Session for SAT Reading Section from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Perfect to prepare for the in-school SAT on March 2nd (Southlake and Keller) and March 23 (Colleyville, Grapevine).
Whether you’ve decided to prepare with a book or a tutoring class, you should plan to prepare approximately 3 months in advance of your test date. This plan provides time to review the tested content and learn strategies for all the question types covered by the SAT. An advantage of this approach is all reviewed material will be fresh in your mind on test day.
Option two would be using the summer before your junior year to prepare. Summertime affords more time to learn strategies and do the practice without the stress of homework and other academic and sports commitments during the school year.
If you decide to prepare months before your test or use the summer for test prep, the best start to any program is a diagnostic test that will reveal what concepts, rules, and strategies will give you the most effective tools for score improvement.
With different passages tested on the SAT Reading section, it’s important to know where your strengths are! The passages focus on topics from U.S.and World Literature, History/Social Studies, and Science. With command-of-evidence questions, words-in-context questions, and text-analysis questions, we’ll give you the strategies and tips to move through these questions quickly!
